Turn historical sales data into forecasts you can actually test
What it is.
Sales Regression API is a forecasting service designed to help businesses predict future sales from their own historical data.
Upload sales history and the API builds a regression model around the patterns present in that data - including weekdays, holidays, campaigns, seasonal behaviour, long-term trends, discounts and other available signals. It can automatically search for a better model configuration and evaluate candidates against data they have not seen before.
But producing a prediction is only half the problem.
Sales Regression API uses rolling backtests to measure how the model would have performed on historical data it could not see during training. It reports forecast error, compares the model against a simple baseline, measures performance at different forecast horizons and can calibrate prediction intervals using observed forecasting errors.
The result is not simply "next Tuesday's sales will be 240." It can provide an expected value together with a realistic prediction range - and evidence showing how much confidence should be placed in the model.
The service can also diagnose where forecasting errors are concentrated and identify patterns that may be missing from the model.
Built for integration
Sales Regression API is delivered as a REST API, making it possible to integrate forecasting directly into ERP systems, dashboards, inventory planning, purchasing, production planning and other business applications.
Models and datasets persist between restarts, authentication is API-key based, read-only access can be separated from model-management access, and the service can be deployed behind an existing HTTPS reverse proxy or operated independently on a customer's network.
Selected partner access
Sales Regression API is currently in development and is not publicly available.
Before a wider release, Crowned Phoenix will begin working with a limited number of selected partners using real-world sales data and integration scenarios.
This phase is intended to validate the service across different businesses, sales patterns and forecasting requirements before broader availability.
