Learning from the Field - Our Visit to IMG Logistics in Latvia
Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting IMG Logistics in Latvia - a company known for its wide regional operations and sharp approach to transport planning. The purpose of our visit was simple: to better understand how real logistics teams operate on the ground and how any Transport Management System (TMS) can truly meet those needs.
The IMG team generously walked us through their daily workflow, from order handling and vehicle planning to terminal coordination and cross-border operations. We had the chance to observe how domestic and regional teams collaborate, and how critical accurate planning, driver communication, and customs timing are in a fast-moving logistics environment.
The insights we gained are already influencing the way we think about system design — focusing on real challenges, not just theoretical features. More importantly, the openness and professionalism of the IMG team gave us confidence that this could be the beginning of a meaningful partnership.
